Frustrating Experience!

Hello, My feedback is to help future customers at Allegiant Stadium prevent the frustration and awful experience I had for the stadium tour. First, I had looked up the policies weeks in advance. I measured my clutch purse and it met the measurements provided. Here are things that happened: *I couldn’t believe that Vegas didn’t build a taxi line area. If you go to the stadium it’s easier to walk from hotel. We took a taxi and the driver went past the stadium and drove far away because if they stop to drop people off they get ticketed. So we ended up paying for a taxi and walking a distance greater than from hotel. So keep that in mind if you ever go there. **Allegiant Stadium’s policy the day of the concert was gates open at 3:30pm and the concert starts sharp at 4:00pm. I’m sorry, there is no way you could ever get that many people into the stadium in 30 mins. We stood in line at least 50 mins. When we got to security, we placed our purse down. They wouldn’t let us through. Our purses were too big! They took a slip of paper and compared it. I’m sorry, I know the measurements on the website were bigger than the piece of paper. It was so ridiculous! So had to go all the back out of line and find west purse check, which they charge you $20 each purse! Nice, to have incorrect measurements to make a few bucks. Then, we had to head back to try to get in. We went to South entrance the 2nd time. It took about 20 minutes. It moved faster there than the North entrance. Plus, who likes to hold everything at a concert? *** We made it into the stadium. We were hot, tired and irritated. We made it to our seats. Amazingly, Joan Jett was still performing. **** The sound in the high section was very hard to understand. I was finally excited again to be there after the arriving chaos. Lol Poison came out and we were so happy and having fun! Bret is the best frontman! We were rockin’ out. About 5th song into it, a woman taps my shoulder and yelled, "You two really need to sit down. The rest of us want to see the concert too!". I’m sorry, are we at the library? Last I checked, we paid for our tickets too! Seriously, I would never do that. I’d expect people to dance and sing at concerts. She could have stood up? So that ruined the fun that I was having. She really ruined the rest of the night. Def Leppard were great as usual (sound up high was distorted). Motley Crue were great! However, the music (instruments) sound were turned up way too loud. It hurt our ears. I usually don’t write negative reviews. There were too many incidents and things experienced that I felt compelled to share. Poison were by far the best band and it was amazing to see all of the bands again! If you read this and ever go to Allegiant stadium just be aware of the taxi situation and don’t take a purse, unless it’s clear and make sure it meets those measurements if the website’s measurements are correctly listed for clear bags.
